Summer sees the warmest weather with average temperatures around the mid-twenties but soaring as high as 40 degrees. This is due to the sirocco winds blowing across Gran Canaria from the west coast of Africa sending Saharan sand blowing through the air.

The resorts lowest temperatures are found around January and February, when a long sleeve top will be needed at night.

Arguineguin has a weather station and live webcam located in the heart of the resort so you can be sure that the weather information is right up to date.
