Kasbah centre
The Kasbah centre plays a significant role in Playa del Ingles. By day it is open for shopping with a small selection of boutiques and although there are certainly larger shopping centres in the resort, the Kasbah is perfect for picking up essentials when you don’t want your day to be consumed by shopping.
Food is also on offer at the Kasbah making it great for grabbing a bite with a choice of restaurants and cafes for lunch or dinner, but it is nighttime when the Kasbah comes into its own.
Vibrant nightlife scene
Offering a buoyant and vibrant night scene, the Kasbah sees much of the resort flock to its bars and clubs come evening time when punters squeeze shoulder to shoulder drinking and partying until the small hours.
There is a broad range of ways to enjoy your evening from an Irish Tavern to the Heineken Bar, karaoke and the popular Chine White club. There really is something for every reveler. And after you have warmed up the night with a few beers, you don’t need to go far to carry on as the Kasbah is the hot spot for nightclubs counting Cream, Pacha and Ministry of Sound amongst them.
Plenty of touts
The area can get rowdy and is certainly not the spot for a romantic night out. Adding to the din is a large number of touts whose sole purpose is to get you into their bar. Whilst they have a job to do, don’t be intimidated. Be clear what is on offer before you accept – the first free drink might sound good, but are you required to spend afterwards? And, if you don’t want to go into a place, be polite but firm. It’s your holiday so you get to choose.
Touts aside, if you are a party animal looking for fun-fun-fun, this is the place to be.
